Encompasses children at the late beginner stage of singing. Singing with good tone and blend is fostered through vocal exercises and listening skills. Through varied repertoire the choristers are encouraged to be performers, whether through the shaping of a musical phrase or the use of facial expression or movement. Weekly rehearsals.

Location: Westminster United Church (outdoors) & Online (Zoom)
Rehearsals will be following a hybrid approach (mix of in-person and online).
Parents and choristers must wear masks in order to access MCC facilities, including the outdoor property of Westminster United Church.

Junior Choir is an auditioned choir for children aged 9 years and older. Please complete the audition form below, and our office will contact you with details. At this time, all our auditions will be held online.
At the audition, your child will be asked to sing O'Canada and complete other clapping and note matching tasks with the conductor.
