Medio Choir

Singers Ages 8-11 (grades 3, 4 and 5)

Medio Choir includes singers grades 3-5 of all skill levels. This choir teaches singers sight reading, rhythmic training, music theory, vocal technique, and collaborative ensemble skills. Throughout the year these choristers perform at four concerts, special guest performances in the Mississauga community, and the annual Junior Treble Festival which includes all non-profit choirs based in the GTA at the Junior Choir level. All of these experiences encourage the choristers to build bonds with one another and create friendships! Choristers are expected to attend weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings as well as practice choir music and music theory at home throughout the week. This choir will begin the 2026 season with a special performance and tour to Niagara-on-the-Lake!

Conductor: Michael Denomme
