MCC conductors are also available for music lessons, providing excellent instruction in voice, piano and music theory. Piano students typically require a 30 minute weekly lesson. The length of lessons for voice and theory students are based on the individual and will be assessed in the first two lessons.
30-minute lesson: $25

About the Instructors
Ms. Emily Daquano is a recent MA graduate in Community Music at Wilfrid Laurier University. She completed her Bachelor of Music Education in Voice at Laurier in 2014, and completed her Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto in 2015. Emily is the founder and facilitator of the adult glee club Port Credit Glee in Mississauga, and maintains a private voice, theory and piano studio in her home in Hamilton. She has directed, choreographed and stage managed many children's theatre shows at the Living Arts Centre's Bravo Broadway program. Joelle Peresin is a second year student at Queen’s University in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) program. She is a recent graduate of Cawthra Park Secondary School’s Regional Arts Vocal Program. In addition to pursuing her passion for STEM, Joelle is also an advocate for the importance of music education. She was an MCC chorister for five years and has previously worked with MCC as the Conductor’s Assistant for Training and Junior Choirs under Ms. Emily Daquano, as well as the Cantiamo Assistant under Ms. Emily Bird. Joelle has been studying piano since the age of four, and currently teaches private voice and piano lessons.
