The Mississauga Children’s Choir provides children with a life-enhancing opportunity to experience the challenge, joy and cultural benefits of choral singing of the highest calibre.

    The Mississauga Children’s Choir would like to invite all music teachers in Mississauga to attend our workshop about vocal pedagogy for young voices and how to deliver a music program online.

    How does an opera go from notes on a staff to an exciting production on stage? At the MCC Opera Camp, you will have a chance to explore a few of the components behind the creation of an opera production.


    Date: Monday July 13 - Friday July 17, 12:30pm – 4:30pm

    Location: ZOOM! (virtual camp)

    Age: Grades 9 to 12 (starting in Sept. 2020)

    • One-on-one sessions with our faculty (voice lessons with Jennifer Tung, drama sessions with Marjie Chud and vocal coaching sessions with Katya Khatsko)
    • Master class with Maestro Denis Mastromonaco, Music Director of Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and Burlington Symphony Orchestra
    • Daily acting/drama classes
    • Hands-on virtual stage makeup and prop-making workshops

    MCC's Summer Choir Camp provides an enriched music education for young singers as well as a fun, interactive experience!  


    Date: Monday July 20 - Friday July 24, 9am - 12pm
